DLS Grading Scale (Formerly HYLA Grading Scale)
Devices are thoroughly inspected and graded based on cosmetic condition and functionality.
Grading scales are specific to each device category:
- Smartphones and Tablets
- Apple Products (AirPods, AirPods Pro, HomePods, Apple TV, Apple Pencil)
- Laptops

All devices have OEM locks disabled and have been data cleared.

AA+ – Like New, Fully Functional
Like-new devices from Buyer’s Remorse programs typically returned within 14 days of purchase.
A+ – Light Wear and Tear, Fully Functional
Devices have passed all functional tests and may exhibit minor cosmetic blemishes.
A – Light Wear and Tear, Partially Functional
Devices are functional but did not pass all functional tests and may exhibit minor cosmetic blemishes.
B+ – More Aggressive Wear and Tear, Fully Functional
Devices have passed all functional tests and will show more noticeable cosmetic blemishes.
B – More Aggressive Wear and Tear, Partially Functional
Devices are functional but did not pass all functional tests and will show more noticeable cosmetic blemishes.
C – Heavily Damaged Cosmetics, Key Functions Only Tested
Devices may show damage on multiple surfaces and major screen issues. Only key functions tested.
