Where We Come From

SourcePools was born out of more than a decade of first-hand experience in the mobile phone supply chain. Between 2012 and 2015, our team was deeply involved in the mobile accessories business, covering external parts, internal components, and key categories such as displays. As our operations expanded, we gradually entered the full-device supply chain, working closely with merchants engaged in large-scale procurement and distribution. This journey placed us inside the most real—and most complex—transaction environments of the industry.

Structural Problems the Industry Has Long Overlooked

Through years of working with buyers, we identified a widespread but underestimated issue: Most buyers are familiar with A / B / C grades, but few truly understand what A / B / C means at the top of the supply chain. In real transactions, many buyers purchase “ABC mixed stock” without clarity on the following realities:

• A / B / C from different sources are not equivalent

• Upstream systems often apply more granular internal standards and ratio controls

• Even products labeled as “Grade A” may contain controlled proportions of B or C units

This structural information is usually held within upstream supply systems and rarely visible to downstream

buyers.

SourcePools was created in response to these structural gaps.

We are not trying to redefine industry grading standards, nor to disrupt existing market rules. Our goal is

simpler and more fundamental: to make supply structures and transaction logic clearer and more

In 2022, we established Dragon Lin Trading Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and expanded operations across

Southeast Asia and the Middle East, including Dubai.

Across cross-border markets, we consistently observed a long-standing challenge: a lack of clear,

sustainable structure between pricing, payment terms, and risk allocation.

While flexible trading methods have supported market growth at certain stages, the absence of unified rules

and platform governance can weaken supply chain stability, distort pricing transparency, and undermine

long-term cooperation.

SourcePools is designed to address this by offering platform-governed transaction structures—allowing

buyers to choose procurement and settlement models more rationally and with greater control, while helping
